"I would like to emphasize how useful the RIP has been in my classroom. Not only does it help the students meet the standards, but it engages them like nothing I’ve tried before. I continually see students excited to do their investigations because it is their own investigation! Some standard experiments or hands-on activities are nice and the students can learn, but with the RIP the students can take charge of their own learning; they can learn about something the way it is best for them. These ‘experiences’ will be remembered way longer than any lecture or pre-packaged lab."
